Looking for good High Schools in Northern Beaches, Sydney

Hi can anybody help please? I am emigrating to Sydney from the UK next year and probably going to live in the Cromer area. I have surfed the internet for school in the Northern Beaches areas but would like to hear from residents who could recommend a good school. I have two children. One will be starting in year 10 and the other in year 7. I have looked at Narrabeen Sports High for my son as he is extremely sporty and very good at sports but I do not know if he will find it easy to get in or not. Anyone any thoughts on that? My daughter however is not sporty but would like a good high school not too far apart. She loves drama and singing.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Narrabeen High School has been in the local press lately as it is planning to focus on an sports academy style campus.

In the past its numbers have dropped due to perceived poor performance and the high number of children that have been sifted away into local Private schools. However I believe its on the up and would suit your sporty one very well. Your other options are Cromer High School and your oldest could attend Freshwater Senior Campus in Year 11 which is like a 6th form college.
