We had made some gingerbread men the day before but ran out of time to ice them so I decided it would be a great opportunity to whip out the camera to record the fun.  One picture couldn't quite capture it all so I put together a series.

TODAY'S PHOTO TIP - different perspectives

You can completely change the look of a photo by changing your position and the angle of the camera. When photographing kids, particularly little ones, many adults will tower above them and so photograph them from above.  If you get down on one knee so  the camera is more in line with the child's eyes, you get a completely different photo that lets you into that child's world.  Play around with this and try taking photos of an inanimate object (like a gingerbread man) from a whole lot of different angles and see what you get.
