This evening we stumbled upon a lovely spot for a photo. I asked the kids to stand in this spot and then let them do their own thing while I snapped away.  They decided dancing in the sunset was the thing to do.

TODAY"S PHOTO TIP - Let them be themselves

Some of my favourite images are candid shots where people are caught in the moment, doing their own thing.  This is when you capture true emotions and the expressions you want to remember in years to come.  So don't wait until your children are looking at the camera to press the shutter and don't always ask them to smile or say cheese.  Put them in a place where the light is nice and the background is attractive and then let them do their own thing.  You can capture some very special moments this way.
