- I have 3 children with autism. One is 8 years-high functioning asd and currently attends asd specific school and integration at a mainstream school 1 day/week. Second is 6 years with Aspergers, currently in mainstream, and third, is only just 3 with most likely a diagnosis of aspergers. I am very interested in the differnt schooling options for our asd children, and very interested in other peoples experiences of asd in mainstream schools, also what the future holds for catering our asd kids in mainstream.
