- Having young children starting the schooling system, I am concerned for their future and wish to be proactive. Ignorance is not an excuse with today's technology for not knowing what's happening with your children's education and future. Us as parents need to start taking a more active role in our children's education rather than leaving it to the schools and teachers. Even if it means being involved in P&F/P&C's, class room time on days off and teaching your childen behaviour ettiquette at home rather than expecting your teacher to do it!

We have some great ideas for the group, just wanting to start debating and getting some detail around the ones that float. Please do not feel obliged, even a few minutes here and there when you notice something needs adding or doing is great. Loved your discussion "All talk, no action". I have been trying to recruit indivdually, that has been minimally successful. :-)
This is all a bit new for me.
