Homework
I get my child in grade 2 to do a bit a homework 2-3 times a week, based on what I feel is important at this stage (I would have liked more communication on what to work on with my child at home). We discuss his reader books and do a casual oral comprehension session, so he is learning without really having to sit down and keep time aside for homework.

Of the Public schools in the area, Newbridge Heights has an excellent reputation. Holsworthy has a very good Kindergarten program. Both Wattle Grove and Hammondville are very good schools too.
