I
I'm afraid food fads seem to be almost universal with kids with an asd. My sons are both very fussy as to texture, taste and how food is served. Good luck! We almost broke our marriage and family due to visiting a psychologist who wanted to push reward charts for vegetables. If you are really worried -pop in a vitamin tonic. 20 years after these violent ,time consuming and loosing battles I say life is too short to stress over such matters. My gorgeous kids can be perfectly rational and intelligent about 99% of non-food issues but food is too hard-wired to shift tastes. "Chacun a son gout" - each to his own (taste) if I remember my school French
As I said - good luck! You may be blessed with more stamina than my husband and me!
