Why isn't a teacher's profession regarded in the same lines as a physician and the likes of and higher paid. Most children spend more time at school than what they do at home in the teachers care. They are raising the next generation!
Not anyone and everyone should be able to become a teacher just because that's the profession they choose, why isn't it scrutinised to the same degree as our forces the; army, navy and air force.
Teachers should be given more respect but on the flip side they need to undergo aptitude testing etc… testing to see if they are suited to become a teacher.
