Bringing Parents up to Speed- thriving not just surviving being a parent
A NSW Parents' Council interactive Community Event to be held on
Saturday November 6 at Chatswood RSL from 1pm- 5pm.
Come along to hear about recent advances in medical imaging that have shed new light on what happens to adolescents brains as they develop, and how this has resulted in some new ideas about how to understand ‘teenage behaviour’.
Learn from the expertise from Ruth Fordyce "The Resilience Doughnut" and Angie Wilcock who will run an interactive workshop full of information, tips and proven strategies to help your child with balance, organisation, attitude and time management.
The day will conclude with a panel discussion around adolescent mental health. There will be loads of resources available and representatives from the Local Council areas to speak to you about services in your area. This is a FREE event and places are limited.
Please email Rowena Stulajter community@parentscouncil.nsw.edu.au
or call on (02) 9955 8276 to reserve your spot.
